You get me, like deep down in my soul. You know the things I need to hear and when I need to hear them. You laugh with me, cry with me, love with me, lose with me. I'm not sure if I could ever accurately describe the impact you have on my life. It always seems to me that all your lyrics are written just for me like you know me on a best friends forever level.
There is no better feeling than seeing you play live, watching your fingers move seamlessly over your guitar as it emits the notes to my favorite songs. The chill I get when the sticks crash against the drums. The high I have for hours or days after the show.
All I can say is thank you. Thank you for the role you've had in shaping who I am as a person. Long live rock and roll. (And all the other genres!)
You know that filter that stops you from saying inappropriate or snarky things out loud? Yeah, I don't have that. What I do have is a passion for graphic design and a love affair with music. Pair those with my shockingly awesome sense of sarcasm and that's how Electric Otter was born.
It started out innocent enough on Etsy with digital prints, then turned into hard prints, then into framed prints. Then I started thinking - maybe I should start my own website. It would be a good way to get my designs out there and away from all the other similar items on Etsy. So I ended up here.
Fast forward a few weeks and you'll get to the part where I started putting my designs on t-shirts. Then bags, then hats, then home decor, etc. You get the point. Never in life had I thought I was meant to do something until I started doing this. It just makes sense and I feel so lucky to be creative and be able to do something I truly enjoy, even if it's a side business right now. The fact that strangers on Instagram like my designs, blows my mind everyday and I'm so grateful for that.
So here's to the sarcastic, the unapologetic and the unfiltered. We see you, boo.
